Are you feeling more meh than mwah at the moment?
Are you finding it harder to notice things that make you feel good?
Is happiness feeling like hard work right now?
You’re not alone, lovely. You’re not alone.
When your resources are low, when you’re not winning at self worth, when you’re struggling to love yourself happiness can seem so far away can’t it, so out of reach.
Happiness shouldn’t feel like a luxury, something ‘nice to have’ but when you’re feeling less than and depleted it goes to the bottom of the pile.
We’ve all been there.
It doesn’t have to be this way.

You see here’s the thing, when you stop prioritising your needs, when you stop putting yourself first you give yourself signals that loving yourself and your own happiness aren’t important. They’re not enough so in turn neither are you. When you are struggling with self belief and confidence to be you, the importance of valuing who you are and what you require diminishes.
You are so worthy lovely one. You were born worthy.
Did you know that focusing on things you are grateful for is a great route to expanding your happiness and self love? And it doesn’t have to be complicated, simple stuff works. And I’m all for things being simple!

So here are 5 quick tips to grow gratitude:
- Practise daily gratitude. Write it down. Say it out loud. Whatever floats your boat but just do it and feel it and notice it.
- Share 1 thing every day that you are grateful for with 1 person. It lifts you up, it lifts them up. It’s a win win. We don’t verbalise these things often enough.
- Be more present. It sounds so simple doesn’t it but we are so often caught up in the next thing and the next thing that we don’t stop to enjoy the now. So hit pause, enjoy it and be thankful for it.
- Check in with your language. Notice the words you are choosing and how you are expressing yourself. Are they coming from a place of appreciation?
- Get out in nature. Catch a sunset, run around some woods, hug a tree, stare at some clouds…all around us there are beautiful moments to be had and to capture with our eyes. Show them some loving.
“Happiness is not something that comes ready made. It comes from your own actions.”

Which one are you going to try?
The more you generate gratitude the happier you feel. The happier you feel the more you lean into love.
