Drowning in work, overwhelmed by home and family shizzle, feeling overrun with stuff to do. Navigating the pandemic has left us feeling exhausted and depleted. It’s all too much.

So when you’re in this space how do you find things to smile about?
How do you even start feeling like your own happiness is a priority?

You know happiness shouldn’t feel like a luxury, something ‘nice to have’. So even when happiness feels out of reach please know this.
You are worthy.
You are valuable.
You are so incredibly deserving of happiness.
Did you know that 50% of our happiness is genetics, 10% circumstances and 40% is our intentional activity? I was really surprised when I first heard these statistics as I couldn’t believe that we can take charge of such a large chunk.
By being intentional every day we get to increase our happiness.

But how do you get intentional with your happiness when you’re feeling rubbish?
Choose ONE thing that you KNOW lights you up.
It doesn’t have to be huge, it just has to make you smile. It just has to help you feel more like you. Then notice how it makes you feel.
If you’re feeling stuck, why not try one of these ideas.
- Go for a walk out in nature.
- Find somewhere to lose yourself in a book.
- Hit pause for 5 minutes and just take a breath.
- Whack on some vibe-raising tunes and dance your socks off.
- Do something that makes you deep down belly laugh.

Make some time today to do something that makes you feel happy.
